The Fast 56 identifies, recognizes and celebrates the world’s fastest growing USF Bull-owned or Bull-led businesses. The awards celebrate their success while also providing a forum to pass lessons to the next generation of Bull entrepreneurs.
Julie MacGregor-Peralta, MS MBA, is President and CEO at Global Safety Management. She has an MBA from the University of Florida and an MS from the University of South Florida. Julie has over 15 years of experience in the regulatory compliance industry, with a focus on material safety and global compliance through technology. Julia became Global Safety Management’s Chief Executive Officer at the end of 2011.

With over a decade of experience helping manufacturers, distributors and end users stay compliant, GSM takes over the burden of safety data sheet regulatory compliance so their clients can focus on their core business.
Among other qualifications, to qualify for the Fast 56, companies must meet the following leadership criteria:
- Business must have been in operation for a minimum of 36 months.
- Business must have verifiable revenues of at least $100,000 in each of the first two reporting periods and $250,000 for the most recent 12-month period.
- Business must be owned or operated by a former USF student who either has owned 50% or more of the company, served as the company’s chief executive, or founded the company and been active as a member of the most senior management team during the eligible period.
